The Department of Consumer Affairs Food and Civil Supplies is responsible for issuing ration Card in Telangana State. It have been diversified to include procurement of food grains under Minimum Support Price (MSP), Aadhaar based distribution of essential commodities viz. Rice, Wheat,Sugar, Kerosene and Red gram dal through Fair Price Shops under the Public Distribution System at subsidized rates. All the process is done with the help of ration card. In this article we are providing details about Ration Card in Telangana State.

Documents Required for Ration Card

The applicant can submit any one of document as resident proof along with application form and Passport size photographs of the head of the family ,

  • Voter Identity card
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • LPG Reciept
  • Rent Agreement
  • Extract of electoral roll
  • Latest telephone bill ( on the applicant name) ,
  • Identity card issued by the Government or public sector.

How to Apply for Ration Card in Telangan

The consumer can apply for ration card from the official website. Here we are providing simple instruction such that you will be able to apply for ration card very easily.

  1. First of all visit to the the official website at- tg.meeseva.gov.in 
  2. Click on Apply Online for Ration Card and select the card type you want.
  3. Enter the details of  Head of the Household and other information like Occupation, Annual Income, gas connection details, family members details and the address correctly.
  4. After that upload all the required documents in prescribed format and clik on submit button.

How to Check Status of Ration Card Online

If you you applied for the Ration Card or Food Security Card (Telangana State) and want to check the status your Ration Card then please follow the below mentioned steps to proceed:

  • Go to the official website at- Click Here
  • A new window will open which is shown below.

  • After that click on FSC application Search Link.
  • A new page will be displayed on your screen.

  • Enter all the details in the empty fields and click on Submit button.
  • Details of ration card Application Status will be appeared on your screen.

FP shop renewal :
